Youth Ministry Reminders (Part 1)

July 6, 2012 by Daniel Beckworth

Students are vital to what we do. I know you know that, but the business of church life and staff meetings can easily steal your focus. We can easily turn our focus to prepping lessons, planning events, and updating the church website. None of those things are bad. They’re actually good things, but we can’t lose our drive to build relationships with students. The reason we’re in youth ministry is not the thrill of renting a van for the summer retreat; it’s seeing student’s lives changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ!

-Is there a call I need to return?

-Is there a conversation I’ve been avoiding?

-Is there an issue I need to address?

-Have I made contact with a student today?
