Another Semester Down
1May 1, 2012 by Daniel Beckworth
A year of seminary will officially be in the books come May 7th. It’s been a fun semester. We’ve learned a lot. Now it’s time for a much needed summer break. During the semester, I stick to a “Required Reading Only” policy. I’d like to read a few books for measure during my summer break. Any suggestions? I’m currently reading through several books. Here’s a few that I’m either currently enjoying or found great delight in: 1) Justification and Regeneration by Charles Leiter 2)C.S. Lewis’s Space trilogy 3) If you would like to brush up on a theology of reading accompanied with practical advice on reading Tony Reinke’s book “Lit! A Christian Guide to Reading Books” will be helpful and enjoyable. It could also offer some helpful advice if you struggle to find enjoyment or good reason to read fiction. 4) If you really want to set out on an adventure you could start with The Hobbit and read through The Lord of the Rings. 5) The entire Narnia series can be a quick read and is delightful.
